This one is not as dangerous as the deadlift or squat if you perform it incorrectly, but can be very inefficient. What you want to do is arch your back a little to make sure you are engaging the chest muscles, that way they will build up nice and quickly.
4. Shoulder Press
This is a great exercise for getting a wide thick look at the top of your body, as it mainly builds up the shoulders. These can be done by pressing the weight behind or in front of your neck, whichever one feels more comfortable for you.
5. Row
This really helps build muscles in the upper back, misddle back adn the shoulders. There is a lot of variety in the different ways you can row, which can provide a change to the workout. It really is a good workout for making the back muscles look thick rather than just building them up.
Even though these are the five best workouts for building muscle, you will want to make sure to do other exercises to. Remember that an important part of muscle building is variety. You want to make sure in every workout that you are exercising your whole body, so that your muscles look well balanced everywhere.
